A high percentage of our pets will develop tartar at some point in their lives. It may start as an aesthetic problem, but can evolve into more serious problems such as halitosis, gingivitis, periodontitis, complications such as tooth loss, abscesses, chronic rhinitis or jaw fractures, which are common in small dogs, so regardless of the aesthetic aspect, regular check-ups and, if necessary, brushing are recommended.
